SUMMARY:Converting Vacancy to Bounty
DESCRIPTION:Come Learn about Food Strong’s Vacant Lot Restoration Initiative (VLRI) which was launched through the support of Cuyahoga County. It is a partnership between Food Strong\, Rid-All Green Partnership\, and the Cuyahoga Land Bank. We work collaboratively to assist community groups with acquiring vacant lots and restoring them through sustainable agricultural practices. Potential site uses include urban farms and gardens\, pocket parks\, community gathering spaces\, and other innovative constructions.
