Geauga County Reimagining Community

July 12, 2025 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Join us together with Northeast Ohio Black Health Coalition and Ohio State University on Saturday, July 12th from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the Family Life Center, 16349 Chillicothe  Road Chargin Falls OH 44023.

The community conversation is focused on increasing the resilience of coastal communities to extreme weather and other climate change impacts, including sea level rise and drought. This builds on longstanding efforts to address disproportionate impacts of extreme weather and flooding in the region while building capacity among communities of concern, while also gathering information from local residents.

This event is part of a larger series of regional conversations aimed at building a climate resilience plan for Northeast Ohio, supporting the ongoing work of the Northeast Ohio Black Health Coalition, Ohio State University Extension, and funded by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

This event is FREE, and all residents of Geauga County are encouraged to attend. Each participant will receive $10, an air purifier, and lunch during the event. This is a space to share, listen, and shape next steps. Join us in reimagining a more just and resilient Geauga County.
