Climate Hope Affiliates: Chapter Launch Workshop
We’re excited to share an opportunity from one of our partners that aligns deeply with the values we hold at Community Life Collaborative.
On Monday, July 14th from 6:30–9:00 PM, the national United Church of Christ (UCC) Environmental Justice Ministries will host a Climate Hope Affiliates Launch Workshop at the Family Life Center, 16349 Chillicothe Rd, Chagrin Falls, OH 44023. Remote attendance is also available via Zoom.
The UCC Climate Hope Affiliates program empowers people of faith and conscience to take meaningful, sustained action on climate change and social injustice. Through training, relationship-building, and transformational advocacy, local teams work together to influence public policy, engage their communities, and become agents of hope and change.
As a supporting partner, we believe in the power of local connection and in the critical role faith communities can play in advancing environmental equity. If you’re passionate about climate, justice, and building deeper relationships for change, this is a space for you.
Join us on July 14th and help build a collective voice to address climate collapse by building relationships with local representatives, media, and one another.
The CLC hosts subject specific events throughout the year that align with our respective Community Programs. Our non-profit will also have immersive ways to connect through public events and fundraisers periodically.
