The Power of Nature and Healing Exhibit Opening and Gallery Talk
Join us on Saturday, August 22, from 11:00 AM–1:00 PM for The Power of Nature and Healing Exhibit Opening and Gallery Talk at the Garden View Gallery, Family Life Center. This free community event features local surgeon and artist Dr. Joe Blanda, whose remarkable photography explores the restorative power of nature for personal health and well-being. Meet Dr. Blanda, hear the stories behind his work during a special gallery talk, connect with fellow community members, and discover simple, safe, and accessible ways nature can support healing and wellness.
The opening celebrates The Power of Nature and Healing, a captivating photography exhibit showcasing magnificent landscapes, birds, wildlife, flowers, and other breathtaking scenes from the natural world. Through each photograph, Dr. Blanda invites us to slow down, reconnect with nature, and reflect on the ways the outdoors can restore both body and mind.
The exhibit will be on view August 18 through September 30 presented in partnership with the Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Nature Rx, and supported by Cuyahoga Arts & Culture. Gallery viewing hours are on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, or by appointment. Viewing the gallery is free and open to the public.
