Called to Act

July 18 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

In a moment when democratic norms are under pressure and communities are hurting, what is the church’s role? Led by Dylan Sellers, pastor of Purpose216 Church in Cleveland, OH, the half-day gathering brings people of faith together for honest conversation, shared discernment, and practical next steps, grounded in spirituality rather than partisanship. If you’ve felt the tension between your faith and the world around you, bring it here. Lunch provided. Come join us on July 18th, from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the Fellowship Hall of the Federated Church, 76 Bell St, Chagrin Falls, OH 44022.

What We’ll Explore Together:

How do we begin to see our justice work as faith work?

What does it mean for the church to be a community, not just a building?

How did Jesus form disciples into leaders — and what does that ask of us?

If Acts describes the early church as organized for collective care, what is ours organized for?

What does it look like to live righteousness, not just worship it?
